We are pleased to announce that the 2020 ALRC National Rally will be held 21st to 25th May 2020, at Bilsington Priory in Kent, which is about 20 mins from the coast. There will be a follow-on rally and there may also be the chance to arrive a few days before the rally starts, but this will be announced around November 2019, when bookings will open. Keep your eyes peeled for Early Bird booking discounts!
Full details will be available in November.
The event, held at a site in Whaddon near Milton Keynes was enjoyed by all - and the weather even held up for us too! The 2019 National Rally weekend was full of fun, competitions, socialising.....and great weather, with only a small amount of rain on the Sunday which helped damp down the dust for the RTVT.
Special thanks go to Chiltern Vale LRC and Anglian LRC for all their hard work organising and hosting the event, especially Stuart Newton and Andrew Flanders. Thanks also go to the landowner, members of all other clubs who stepped in to help, and ALRC council members who assisted. Thanks to our sponsors Britpart, Bearmach and BME, to Pegasus Bars for the food and drink, and all other equipment suppliers for the marquee, generators and lighting towers, loos and showers. Thanks to Richard Blackshaw and his family for the timing, and to Bruce Hart-Davies and his family for the water taps and the fabulous Radio Control trials sections which were enjoyed by many.
Thank you to all contributors to the image galleries: Tony Birch, Paul Muir, Russ Brown, David Dudley, John Aldridge, Daniel Drew, Emma Pascoe-Parish, Lesley Kipling and Stephanie Watson. We will be adding links to other photographer's albums from the event as soon as they become available, so please check back now and again!
