Local Attractions

Whaddon is situated very close to Milton Keynes.
Standing close to the boundary between Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale, the village can be traced back to Anglo-Saxon times and surrounding elements back to Roman settlements.  The village name is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means 'hill where wheat is grown’.  There is a 15th century village pub, the New Lowndes Arms, which offers accommodation and a restaurant with an extensive menu.  (Having visited this fine establishment last night, Friday 18th May, I can certainly vouch for the excellent food, friendly staff and amazing variety of Gins available!).  Click here for more information.

Unbelievably, it seems that not everyone wants to watch Land Rovers all day....!  Check out some of the local attractions below - there's something for everyone...trampolining, indoor skiing, crazy golf, soft play, virtual reality and last, but by no means least, a fantastic shopping centre.

Bletchley Park
Bletchley Park is nearby, where you can explore, experience and enjoy the once top-secret world of iconic Codebreaking Huts and Blocks set within an atmospheric Victorian estate.  Click here to go to their website.
