Rights of Way Matters

Oxfordshire CC is currently proposing to exclude recreational vehicles from the length of the Ridgeway in the county.

Objections to the proposed TRO, specifying the grounds they are made should be sent in writing to the Director for Environment and Economy, Oxfordshire County Council, c/o Jacobs Babtie, Park House, Haddenham Business Park, Bucks HP17 8LB.

Powys CC have recently made TROs affecting several routes in the county. These prevent any mechanically propelled or horse-drawn vehicle using the routes in question.
'These routes have been closed to vehicles owing to their very poor condition and to prevent further deterioration'

*Byway route between Dolau and Water-Break-Its-Neck in Radnor Forest,

UCR F327 near Lower Llanoley, Cefnllys,

*Byway route between Moelfre City, Llanbister and Fiddler's Green, Felindre,

Route between Lower Llanoley, Cefnllys and Pye Corner, Llandegley'.

*Closure will remain in force until necessary remedial works to the route have been carried out.
